By accessing or using PDF CodexNeo at pdf.codexneo.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PDF CodexNeo provides free online PDF processing tools including but not limited to: merging, splitting, compressing, converting, rotating, protecting, and editing PDF files. The Service is provided "as is" and is free to use without registration.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Upload files that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Upload files containing illegal content including but not limited to child sexual abuse material
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to make excessive requests to the Service
• Use the Service to process files on behalf of others for commercial gain without our written permission
• Circumvent any rate limits or security measures

4. Your Files and Content

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to the Service. By uploading a file, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process that file solely for the purpose of providing the requested service to you. This licence expires when your file is deleted (within 5 minutes of upload).

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to upload and process any files you submit to the Service, and that doing so does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

5. File Deletion

All uploaded files and processed outputs are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 5 minutes of upload. We do not guarantee the availability of processed files beyond this window. You are responsible for downloading your processed files promptly.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that processed files will be free from defects. You use the Service at your own risk. Always keep a backup of your original files before processing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDF CodexNeo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The PDF CodexNeo name, logo, website design, and all original content are the intellectual property of PDF CodexNeo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
